NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

narsissist dual intensity eyeshadow palette
I have had this absolute beauty sitting pride of place on my dressing table since Christmas Day and boy have I had my use of it. I have had this palette on my mental wish list ever since I became obsessed with the NARS Dual-Intensity single eye shadows.

The texture of these shadows are like none other, highly pigmented both wet and dry, but each shadow evolves into a molten metallic pool of heaven once wet. The palette contains a good mix of day and night time shades, with a gorgeous highlight shade for good measure.

Inside the high shine mirrored and matte black compact is eight generously sized eyeshadows, and one full sized #49 brush, which is idea for applying the shadows wet. As with any black compact, it is impossible to keep clean, but like any true makeup junkie, it doesn't bother me the slightest as I am too busy using my makeup to worry about keeping it looking neat.

This palette was Limited Edition at the time of first release, but I know you can still buy in in a few places, ASOS being one of them, as that is where I bought mine. I also managed to bag a 20% discount meaning I got this gorgeous palette for £36, rather than its regular full price of £45.

Who else loves this palette?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Medium Brown
If you're a regular here on Porcelain Queen, you'll know I have previously shunned brow pencils, but after wanting a shake up my routine I switched my Dip Brow Pomade for the coveted Brow Wiz. Funnily enough you wont need the power of precognition to know that it has become a firm favourite and a staple in my brow arsenal.

I chose the colour Medium Brown which matches my eyebrows perfectly. I was admittedly slightly weary of using a brow pencil, having a set thought that it would make my brows look harsh and too drawn on for lack of a better word. However I was happily proved wrong when the pencil applied in thin precise strokes which, when blended with the spoolie end, blended perfectly with my own brows and made them appear thicker, fuller and a more structured shape.

The pencil is extremely handy, I no longer have to faff around switching between a spoolie and a brow brush. The incredible small pencil makes drawing natural hair like strokes foolproof, or you can blend for a more high impact look.

I cannot wait to add the Brow Definer to my collection, a cross between the Dip Brow and the Brow Wiz sounds like heaven

Dare I even ask who loves the Brow Wiz?
