Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade | Swatches and Review

Hi Beauty Lovers!

Todays post features one of the most hyped about products I've ever known, this product has flown off the shelf since its launch date and sells out quicker than if it was free!

I've been on a waiting list with Beauty Bay for months, and after the third 'notification of restock' email I finally got my hands on a pot. This stuff literally sells out in a matter of hours.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade | Chocolate | £15.00

After hearing so many amazing reviews about this product I was bursting with excitement to try this peculiar product for the first time. I've been using the pomade for around three maybe four weeks, and I've still got mixed feelings.

At the start of my relationship with the dipbrow I was in love, the product was so smooth and silky and glided on effortlessly. It defined the tail of my eyebrows but yet still remained soft and natural looking. I don't use it in the front of my brows, I like a strong brow, but a girls got to draw a line somewhere! After using it for a few days I noticed the formula had changed and had turned to more of a stodgy moose consistency making it incredibly hard to apply and made my eyebrows look unnatural. There are ways of combating this, I tend to spritz my brush with Urban Decay setting spray to just slightly loosen the product and make it appear more natural, I believe you can also use a drop of baby oil to do the same. One thing I cannot fault is the colour, it matches my natural brow colour perfectly, and there is a is a wide range of colours available...if you can get one, the popular shades soon sell out.

I would recommend this product to someone who likes bold brows and really likes to spend time on their makeup, because this is not a two minute job product. I currently use a mixture of wax, powder, this product and a tinted gel. This is obviously over kill, but I love spending time making my eyebrows look perfect, I couldn't not do my brows as part of my makeup routine.

Who else has tried this product? What were your thoughts?
